About the Author
Barry A. Rubin, MA in Communications from Ohio University, is rabbi of Emmanuel Messianic Jewish Congregation in Clarksville, Maryland. Founded in 1915, it is the oldest extant Messianic congregation in the world. In 1988, he became director of The Lederer Foundation (now Messianic Jewish Publishers and Resources), a sixty-year-old organization formerly in the Orthodox Jewish section of Baltimore, now in Clarksville/Columbia of Howard County, Maryland. He serves on several boards and has been in the forefront of Messianic Judaism since the 1970s.

What a privilege to hold God's Word to man in our hands! This is not the first Complete Jewish Bible I have ever read, as I purchased cases of the Complete Jewish Bible a couple years ago to give to my congregation. Everyone loves their Complete Jewish Bible! Now, with the Complete Jewish Study Bible, I am absolutely ecstatic to own and use this great work! I splurged and purchased the genuine calfskin edition and I am so happy I did! It is exquisite in construction and quality. I envision years of daily use because no expense was spared in the design and construction of this Bible. Further, the layout is highly logical and useable. This Bible opens up the Jewishness of our history, especially in a Scriptural and Hebrew Worldview perspective. This is so terribly important because without accurate Hebrew worldview, culture, language, and lands knowledge one cannot really understand what is being said or instructed. As a pastor, it is my responsibility to accurately present not only the Word, but what the Word really means! This Study Bible truly provides an extraordinary resource for not only pastors, but for every person who reveres and wants to better understand God's Word.
Outstanding resource help. The NT can not be fully understood without an understanding of how it relates to the Hebrew Scriptures, and there is no better understanding of this than from a Messianic Jewish perspective. Much of what the Septuagint translation provides is through a “Western Civilization†lens. This applies to both to the Original Covenant and the Renewed Covenant.I read the ESV and this translation in developing my understanding of what the Word of God has to say. I am a Bible teacher and pastor a home fellowship church.

This is a TOP quality Bible; the leather binding is wonderful. I love the Complete Jewish translation, especially with the added insights of the study Bible. This Bible helps you to look at the Word of God through Jesus' Jewish context, without the confusion of too many Hebrew words. It's an easy read, for every day use.
