Living in Northern Wisconsin, I have the Wisconsin and Michigan gazetteer, as well as the Montana and now the Wyoming editions. I am an outdoor enthusiast who likes to take the road less travelled...and get back to the main roads. These gazetteers are invaluable for the traveller who likes to have a good idea of what to expect when they take those roads. You can also program your GPS devices using these maps.

I have a Delorme atlas for 11 US states. They're amazing; detailed, accurate, easy to read and aesthetically pleasing. The BLM land is easy to locate for free camping. Couldn't travel well without them!

I have worn out DeLorme Atlases of Missouri, Illinois and Colorado. I love to travel and a big part of my enjoyment is discovering what any area has to offer off the beaten path.This series of Atlases offers information and locations of historical, geological, recreational and scenic interest and much more than a folding state map could possibly cover. They are highly detailed, large scale (1 inch equals 3.2 miles) show contours, back roads, railroads (even abandoned right of ways), rivers, creeks, old cemeteries, mines, quarries, trails and other details that you would find only on USGS maps. I use these in conjunction with Google Earth and, if you have one of these with you being out of cel or wireless range doesn't matter.

It's hard to say much of anything negative about this product. If you are going off the beaten path in ANY state, you need to buy the Gazetteer for it. In states like Wyoming it can be the difference between getting gas into your car and not.

DeLorme map books are great for trip planning and you can keep them in the vehicle for the states you'll visit. I bought this from one of the Goodwill centers. Goodwill usually ships very quickly but they ship books by the cheapest means so they will be no tracking. It arrives when it gets there. I've ordered literally dozens of books from the different Goodwill stores and always been satisfied.

Valuable resource, always use them on trips in addition to road map and GPS. Know where you are going on a map before you leave to be sure GPS isn't sending you off on a longer route or to Timbuktu...GRrrrrr ask me how I know!!! Too many times!

Greatest thing for finding obscure locations and roads. Great for finding remote photo locations, camp sites and areas for fishing and boat launches.

This atlas is a must have for going off the paved roads in Wyoming (or really any western state) for both planning and driving.My only question is; I'm not sure how often they update these books with changes? It would be nice for them to indicate that. Some trails and/or dirt roads seem to have changed some from when these books were published. But over all the detail is good for being that it covers the entire state. There are some local area maps of state and federal lands that show better detail and seem to be more updated.

Cute book. My 3 year old loves it.

I thought this was going to be about hockey patterns, but it's for a younger child than 6 and about pre-school skills. My 6 year old grandson is bored, but he can read it to his 4 year old brother.

I'm a big fan of the SI Kids Rookie Books series and it only takes one page through of any book in the series to determine the reason. There is no one out there that does sports photography like Sports Illustrated and they bring it to this series of concept books in ways that are sure to delight the youngest of sports fans. Hockey Patterns provides large two page photo spreads from actual pro hockey games, featuring real NHL teams. Even when the photos don't include action, they provide a close up view of actual equipment that kids are sure to enjoy. We see color patterns in different color team uniforms, stripes in the referee's shirt, and number patterns in a stack of hockey pucks. There are patterns in the stadium ceiling and in the seats. I especially appreciated the opportunities readers were given to guess what comes next. Great. Must have if you are Game of Thrones Fan

I purchased this as a gift and was so eager to wrap it that I forgot to snap pictures beforehand! I did open the box and take a good look at all of the parts, though.The box comes with 4 different items in it. There is Longclaw (the sword) and the sheath inside of plastic wrap, the stand to lay the sword on, and a small book.Longclaw appears to be just like the sword in the movie. It’s made out of metal and is pretty heavy (for a 4 inch long sword, that is). The tip is not sharp at all.The book is called “The Night’s Watch” and has lots of full color pictures from Game of Thrones. It covers a little bit of the history of the Nights Watch and gives a bio on all of the members including new recruits (the newest recruit listed is Olly, it does NOT reveal the spoiler of what Olly does at the end of season 5). The book also has bios on the Mutineers. The book was really cool because there are some things in the bios of minor characters that you may have overlooked when watching the show.I’m very satisfied with this product and it looks like it will go perfectly next to my friend’s pop figurine of Jon Snow.

After binge watching all 7 seasons of GOT in anticipation for the final season, I found myself being fond of the Longclaw Sword. A quick search on Amazon brought me to this little kit. It has so much great detail for being so small and is made of good quality. It also has weight to it. The mini book is informative and well made and the entire kit is a great addition to any GOT fan's collection. Great read up til the term mansplaning was used that brought the whole up til then carefuly made atmosphere crashing down. Left a nasty odor over the rest of the book.

This is a long tale but a good one. Well written, but for some editing issues. Definitely read this if you like something very unique. A talking cat due to a spell, the cruel upbringing of a "guttersnipe", and a princess caught up in the dangers and intrigue in a kingdom in trouble. Lots of adventure, danger, and chaos. A page turner.

Hope there are more books to come. Read it with my black cat beside me. Would recommend to anybody who enjoys well crafted fantasy.

The impression I had was that it was very loosely based off of London (my opinion only!). While the author did a decent job at the setting, there were no wow moments where the author went really creative. The flip side is also true. There was no real moments where the location made no sense.Characters: I felt this is the area that the author did a relatively good job. The characters felt unique and had their own specific place in the story. The author clearly spent time trying to understand the characters motives for doing any action. There was depth to the characters as each of the characters didn't necessarily stick entirely to a script.Plot: The author had a good starting concept, except the problem was that the author tried to do too much. The author could have expanded it without it hitting us over the head with what was going to happen.Description: The author did an excellent job describing places, objects, and people. Not much more to say about that.Actual writing: I can't say that I was very impressed with the writing. I think the author tried to be funny, but carried things past the joke level. There were decent one-liners but nothing really humorous in the book. Some of concepts in the book felt haphazardly thrown in without enough thought on if it actually made sense. I think the author could have done a better job toning down modern influences in the story. As far as grammar goes, some authors can really pull off bad grammar in their writing and making it add to the overall effect. I think the author should do more studying on that area because instead of increasing the effect, it just came off as bad grammar. Honestly it made some parts of the book difficult to read.Overall: I would give it a 3. There were no wow moments. It wasn't horrible by any stretch. There was just nothing memorable to it. A decent read but that is all.

Perhaps more geared for a younger audience. Also and I admit I'm biased in this regard, I'm getting very tired of stories that should be completed in one book being turned into a series.Not a bad read, but not worth it to me to order the next book in the series.

I won this book as part of a Goodreads First Reads giveaway.A talking cat, a misfit boy, a princess and a witch hunter. What could be better than that? Not much honestly. Although I admit this is not my typical go-to genre, I really enjoyed it. Well written with an engaging story and fascinating characters, this is a book I would recommend to anyone.....especially people who like talking cats. Can't wait for the sequel.

It would have 5 stars but it’s not a hardcover. Which is fine-especially if that’s its only downfall. You’ll love this book if you have one or several young nieces and nephews, grandchildren, kids, or friends’ kids at the beginning reading level and being read to. It’s short enough it can be used as a nighttime book and perfect for those just starting off to read. Parents would love to give it (it being affordable and NOT candy) and receive it. And not all kids are into this series but it’s unisex so more kids are than usual. My niece is head over heals for the show and was so happy to see that her aunt got her an Easter themed nightdress and nighttime book for bed-to extend Easter celebrations out into the night! The idea is a great one btw.

Perfect for kids who love Paw Patrol pups! Fun story at Easter time, but also through the year as it’s a story they love to read all the time! So glad I bought this & another Paw Patrol book for my 3 yr old granddaughter. We sent them as an Easter gift for her basket & she loved them.

Adorable book. I love it and so does my 4 year old son. My husband and I have been trying to explain Kwanzaa and why we celebrate it to our son. We are fortunate to live in a community where there are many others that also celebrate - but he hears mostly of santa and presents at school. This book was a great introduction and he has more curiosity about the Kinora and other items in our house related to Kwanzaa and talks about that at least close to as much as the presents he will be getting. I loved the story of his grandmother and how it really brought the idea of 'doing for others' home.

My son loves this book. Its an adorable story about togetherness and a little rabbit who wanted his granna to have an enjoyable Kwanzaa

We bought this for my 4.5 year old, along with a few other books to read during the holiday season to learn about celebrations of all kinds. 2 months later, he still asks for us to read this almost nightly. He says his favorite part is when Li'l Rabbit is feeling sad on his way home because he couldn't find anything to surprise Granna Rabbit but then he gets home and he's surprised because all his friends in the forest came to make Karamu.

Working at a school that's not-so-diverse, I sometimes have a hard time finding books that convey the spirit of holidays that aren't well-known. This book does a pretty good job of helping younger students understand the principles of Kwaanza--just don't forget to include them after you read the story! The last two pages give an example from the story of each principle. Simply as a story, the message is clear and a good one: Doing special things for others is not only thoughtful and caring, it makes US feel good, too. The illustrations are colorful and very nicely done.I have paired this with a short video of a family celebrating Kwanzaa. You can find a good one if you search "Sesame Street Kwanzaa" online.

This book is very short and, unfortunately, does not deliver on the promise of teaching readers the secrets of super strength through isometrics. It offers some short, colorful biographies of strongmen throughout history, but it does not offer to the readers a complete list of isometric exercises the author has put to the test in real life from which he himself has presumably gained super strength.He does state that, in his opinion, the ultimate secret to super strength is strong hands, and he does provide instructions for some isometric exercises for the hands. But it was not nearly enough isometric information for me. I was very disappointed that he did not provide information on his isometric approaches for strengthening muscles throughout the entire body.I don't personally aspire to achieving super strength, but if one hopes to maintain muscle strength, at all ages, and particularly going into old age when muscle mass begins to drain away, month by month and year by year, isometric exercises are an extremely important adjunct to one's exercise routine. Even people who are completely disabled can do them.Ultimately, though, since the author provides this book at no charge, it is difficult to be overly displeased with him. He's basically created a too grandiose title for a very unambitious, extremely short book.
